Cozy room, friendly staff. the breakfast was plentiful, with delicious fresh bread rolls and cheese, and the location was fantastic, a short walk to the Marquês de Pombal metro station and just 5 km from the airport.

The close proximity to the metro and the wonderful conversation with the friendly cleaning staff made our stay enjoyable, but the small bathroom and outdated furnishings left much to be desired.

excelsior has a great location, just a 5-minute walk from the metro. the room was cleaned thoroughly, and the wifi worked perfectly. a bonus was being able to store our luggage before check-in and after check-out, which really helped us enjoy our day.
the breakfast could use some improvement, as it didn't meet expectations.

The seasonal salads at nearby Casa NanBan Sushi are a must-try, bursting with fresh flavors! Plus, the vibrant vibe at Pastelaria Marques Pombal had me swooning over their pastries.
I hit a snag during my stay—woke up early for the Lisbon Marathon, but breakfast wasn't available when I needed it. Also, when I asked for a late check-out, it was a firm 'not possible'.

The location was a standout, making it easy to walk to key transport links. The breakfast had a variety of fresh items and cured meats, which were a pleasant surprise. However, the room was somewhat small, and maintenance seemed to be lacking in certain areas. While the staff were friendly and helpful, the overall amenities felt average compared to other options in the area.

The room was decent and clean but a bit small, which was a bummer. The bed was super comfy, probably one of the best I've ever had in a hotel. Unfortunately, there was only one plug, so charging my devices was a bit tricky. The bathroom was tiny too, not ideal. At least the location was great, close to the metro and shops.
